These policies protect the time, preparation, and attention reserved for each client and help us provide a consistent experience for everyone.

APPOINTMENTS & SCHEDULING

All appointments require a minimum of 24 hours’ advance notice.

Standard sessions require a 50% deposit to reserve the appointment.

Intro sessions are paid in full at the time of booking.

An appointment is not confirmed until the required payment has been received.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Cancellations or reschedules require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged the full session amount.

Missed appointments and no-shows are also charged 100% of the scheduled service price.

If a deposit has already been paid, it will be applied toward the cancellation fee, and any remaining balance will be due.

ARRIVAL & SESSION TIME

Please arrive ready to begin at your scheduled appointment time.

Late arrivals receive the remaining time available in the scheduled appointment and are responsible for the full session price.

For mobile appointments, the treatment space should be clear, prepared, and accessible before your therapist arrives.

WHAT TO WEAR

All sessions are fully clothed.

Please wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement, such as workout, yoga, or lounge clothing.

Pants are required. Please do not wear shorts.

Depending on the work being performed, socks or other barriers may be used as appropriate.

LOCATION

Office sessions are provided at our private studio in Garland, Texas, near Firewheel.

Detailed arrival instructions are provided after your appointment is confirmed.

MOBILE SESSIONS

Limited mobile sessions are available by request.

A flat $100 travel fee applies to mobile appointments in addition to the session price.

Clients must provide approximately 6 × 8 feet of clear floor space for the treatment setup.

A valid service address is required before the appointment can be confirmed.

PAYMENT

Standard sessions require a 50% deposit at booking. The remaining balance is due at the time of the appointment.

Intro sessions are paid in full when booked.

Deposits and payments are applied toward the scheduled service and are subject to the cancellation policy below.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

All services provided by Restoring Balance Healing Arts are professional, therapeutic massage and bodywork services.

Sexual comments, requests, advances, exposure, or other inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session.

The full session fee will be retained, and future services may be declined.

CLIENT COMFORT & CONSENT

Your comfort and consent matter throughout the entire session.

You may ask questions, request a change in pressure or positioning, decline any technique, or ask that the session stop at any time.

Intraoral TMJ work is performed only with your consent and may always be declined.

HEALTH INFORMATION

Please disclose relevant health conditions, injuries, medications, recent procedures, pregnancy, or other information that could affect your ability to safely receive massage or bodywork.

You are responsible for informing your therapist of changes to your health before each appointment.

Massage and bodywork are not substitutes for medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.

Your therapist may modify, postpone, or decline treatment when there is a concern about whether bodywork is appropriate.

PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Personal information, health history, intake information, and details discussed during your session are treated as confidential and handled in accordance with applicable professional and legal requirements.

Information will not be shared except with your authorization or when disclosure is required by law.

PACKAGES, MEMBERSHIPS & GIFT CARDS

Packages, memberships, and gift cards are subject to the terms provided at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, purchases are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Membership billing, cancellation, commitment periods, included sessions, and other membership terms are provided separately when enrolling.
